Picture
Test & Inspection equipment
'A Periodic test & inspection is necessary because all electrical installations deteroiate due to a number of factors such as damage, wear, tear, corrosion, excessive electrical loading, ageing and environmental influences'
*Quote taken from IEE Guidance note 3 - Inspection & Testing

You can expect a number of
electrical safety tests & inspections
to be carried out, these include both 'dead tests' and 'live tests' using the latest testing equipment which will reduce your down time or disruption.
An
Electrical Installation Condition Report
will be issued feeding back information on the general condition of the electrical installation.  This gives details of observations as to the current installation condition and will list any recommendations for safety improvements.

Is there a legal requirement to Test & Inspect Electrical Installations?
